Everything is still going well. Days here are long. Its kinda weird and annoying but at the same time the weeks seem to be really short. Its weird. It feels like its it was just p-day yesterday but at the same time weve done so much since then. I think its because we don't every actually go anywhere. The experience at the CTM is basically the same still. Last week after I emailed we went into the city for the first time. It's pretty cool but sorta poor. The part we went into just had stores with massive openings. Since the stores are soo close to the CTM they are use to dealing with english speakers but thats only a couple of them. The majority of them you cant figure out what your getting. It took me a while to find a body wash because I think everyone here uses bars and I wanted soap and I wasnt sure what it was called but I lucked out and got the right thing. I also bought a red gatorade, which turned out be some weird, but good, mango flavor. A shoe shop had this massive opening and this lady just parked her car right into it. It was weird but I guess its normal. They had sloppy joes the other night. And I think it's pizza tonight. Most of us decided that the American food is actually the bad food here. One of my roommates is a Brazilian that speaks almost perfect english. He worked at a Mc donalds and as far as I can tell Mc donalds here is the same as America. But yeah, he's very fluent and I think he's actually better then any other Brazilian speaking english in the CTM (including the leaders and teachers). Most of the other Brazilian missionaries speak no english. I have another Brazilian roommate who doesnt but he's been learning some since he's been here. It's actually kinda weird how we have been able to communicate more and more as the days go on. Speaking of which, my portuguese is getting much better. I got all the basics fast but then I started slowing down with harder stuff, so Sunday night I decided I would stop talking in english to practice more. It has'nt been going as well as I hoped but I talk in portuguese 80% of the time now but because of that I barely talk. I took a bunch of photos with people at the temple this morning (we went to a dif one today) so I guess Ill send those all in a few weeks I guess. I think Im running out of time so Im going to stop.. But yeah everything is going well. Alright, see ya
